Philmont Daily Itinery

Friday July 16

• Meet at Cincinnati Airport 9:00 am
• Fly to Colorado Springs - arrive early afternoon
• Tour Garden of the Gods Colorado Springs
• Tour Air Force Academy
• Check in Hotel
• Take over hotel pool
• Dinner and show Flying W Ranch

Saturday July 17

• Depart A.M. for Philmont (190 miles)
• Arrive at Philmont late morning
• Meet your ranger
• Finalize your itinerary
• Picture taken
• Medical recheck
• Issue equipment and food
• Store excess baggage and money
• Attend opening campfire

Sunday July 18 - Tuesday July 27

• Hit the Trail

Wednesday July 28

• Arrive back at the Philmont base camp
• Throw away your clothes
• Turn in equipment
• GET CLEAN
• Buy things at the Philmont trading post
• Attend closing campfire

Thursday July 29

• Load busses and head for Colorado Springs
• Flight from Colorado Springs to Cincinnati
