It is the year 2196, and the earth and satellites are run by the WEC (the World Economic Consortium), which is ruthlessly dedicated to expanding its power and wealth at the expense of the world's citizens. A group of rebels, calling themselves the Resistance, arose a number of years ago against the WEC's policies, but could make little headway against the overwhelming might of the heavily militarized consortium. Then a Silencer, one of the most elite soldiers, witnessed the elimination of two fellow Silencers, by command of the WEC...This execution was ordered because they had refused to kill innocent civilians. Disillusioned and enraged, the Silencer decided that his fallen comrades' deaths would be best revenged by joining with the group that was the most troublesome thorn in the side of the WEC...the Resistance. The Silencer made his way to their base and offered his services. While it is not known whether his motives are humanitarian or vengeful, what is certain is that there is no looking back, no remorse and no regret.
